For all you diehard football fans, the city of Lansing and its surrounding communities will have a new Minor League football team coming to the area in 2010. The Capital City Stealth is coming to town and will be bringing with them some very exciting football for all ages to enjoy. They will be one of many teams throughout Michigan who play football during the summer from June - September.
The Stealth will be made up of talented Lansing area football players, 18 years old and older, who want to continue their football careers beyond high school and/or college, with the hopes of being scouted by the NCAA, CFL and NFL. Most of all, they play for the love of the game.
Management for the Capital City Stealth is currently working on the location in which they will host their home games. The Stealth will play a schedule consisting of 10-12 games over the course of the season, with 5-6 home games. Once the Stealth has acquired a place to call home, they will make an official announcement. They hope to have that taken care of by the end of 2009.
From now through the end of the year, the Stealth will be working on acquiring sponsors for the team and finalizing their coaching staff. Player sign-ups started October 1, 2009, with plans of starting indoor conditioning and practices in February, 2010.

The Capital City Stealth looks forward to their 2010 Inaugural Season in the Lansing area and the years that follow.
